The company
The four hundred years of company history of J.J. Marx starts during the period of religious wars that plagued Europe towards the end of the Middle Ages. As one of the emigrants leaving Wallonia, an area that in those days was part of the Spanish Netherlands and which now belongs to Belgium, the first Marx arrived in Lambrecht.
